.םָלוֹעְל םיִהלֱא יִקְלֶחְו יִבָבְל רוּצ - -

ריִעָבּ ,יָנֹ דֲא ץיִקָהֵמ םוֹלֲחַכּ כ 20 As a dream when one awaketh,

so, O Lord, when Thou arousest
.הֶזְבִתּ םָמְלַצ
Thyself, Thou wilt despise their
semblance.

,יַתוֹיְלִכְו ;יִבָבְל ץֵמַּחְתִי ,יִכּ אכ 21 For my heart was in a ferment,
and I was pricked in my reins.
.ןָנוֹתְּשֶׁא

,תוֹמֵהְבּ ;עָדֵא אלְו ,רַעַב יִנֲאַו בכ 22 But I was brutish, and ignorant;
I was as a beast before Thee.
.ךָמִּע יִתיִיָה

דַיְבּ ,ָתְּזַחאָ ;ךָמִּע דיִמָת יִנֲאַו גכ 23 Nevertheless I am continually

with Thee; Thou holdest my right
.יִניִמְי
hand.

דוֹבָכּ ,רַחאְַו ;יִנֵחְנַת ךְתָצֲעַבּ דכ 24 Thou wilt guide me with Thy

counsel, and afterward receive me
.יִנֵחָקִּתּ
with glory.

יִתְּצַפָח אל ,ךְמִּעְו ;םִיָמָשַּׁב יִל יִמ הכ 25 Whom have I in heaven but

Thee? And beside Thee I desire
.ץ ֶראָָב
none upon earth.

יִבָבְל רוּצ :יִבָבְלוּ ,י ִרֵאְשׁ הָלָכּ וכ 26 My flesh and my heart faileth;

.םָלוֹעְל םיִהלֱא יִק ְלֶחְו but God is the rock of my heart and
my portion for ever.

,הָתַּמְצִה ;וּדֵבאֹ י ךיֶקֵח ְר הֵנִּה יִכּ זכ 27 For, lo, they that go far from

.ָךֶּמִּמ הֶנוֹז לָכּ Thee shall perish; Thou dost
destroy all them that go astray from
Thee.

:בוֹט יִל םיִהלֱא תַב ְרִק ,יִנֲאַו חכ 28 But as for me, the nearness of

לָכּ ,רֵפַּסְל ;יִסְחַמ הִוהְי יָנֹ דאַבּ ,יִתַּשׁ God is my good; {N}
I have made the Lord GOD my
.ךיֶתוֹכֲאְלַמ refuge, that I may tell of all Thy
