.םָלוֹעְל םיִהלֱא  יִקְלֶחְו יִבָבְל  רוּצ                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          -       -

                 יֵמוּ   ;םלֲה וֹמַּע (בוּשָׁי) בישי ,ןֵכָל   י  10 Therefore His people return

                                                             hither; and waters of fullness are
                                       .וֹמָל וּצָמִּי ,אֵלָמ
                                                             drained out by them.

                הָעֵדּ שֵׁיְו   ;לֵא  עַדָי הָכיֵא ,וּרְמאְָו אי  11 And they say: ‘How doth God

                                                             know? And is there knowledge in
                                                  .ןוֹיְלֶעְב
                                                             the Most High?’

                ,םָלוֹע יֵוְלַשְׁו   ;םיִעָשׁ ְר הֶלֵּא  הֵנִּה בי  12 Behold, such are the wicked;

                                              .לִיָח  וּגְּשִׂה   and they that are always at ease
                                                             increase riches.

                    ץַח ְר    ֶאָו  ;יִבָבְל יִתיִכִּז ,קי ִר  ךַא גי  13 Surely in vain have I cleansed

                                                             my heart, and washed my hands in
                                             .יָפַּכּ ןוֹיָקִּנְבּ
                                                             innocency;

                 ,יִתְּחַכוֹתְו   ;םוֹיַּה  לָכּ ,ַעוּגָנ יִהֱאָו די  14 For all the day have I been

                                                             plagued, and my chastisement came
                                                .םי ִרָקְבַּל
                                                             every morning.

                  הֵנִּה   ;וֹמְכ ה ָרְפַּסֲא ,יִתּ ְרַמאָ  םִא וט  15 If I had said: ‘I will speak thus’,

                                                             behold, I had been faithless to the
                                      .יִתְּדָגָב ךיֶנָבּ רוֹד
                                                             generation of Thy children.

                איה לָמָע     ;תאֹ ז תַעַדָל ,הָבְשַּׁחֲאָו זט  16 And when I pondered how I

                                                             might know this, it was wearisome
                                           .יָניֵעְב (אוּה)
                                                             in mine eyes;

              ,הָניִבאָ   ;לֵא  יֵשְׁדּ  ְקִמ  לֶא ,אוֹבאָ  דַע זי  17 Until I entered into the

                                                             sanctuary of God, and considered
                                              .םָתי ִרֲחאְַל
                                                             their end.

                          ;וֹמָל תיִשָׁתּ ,תוֹקָלֲחַבּ ךַא  חי   18 Surely Thou settest them in

                                                             slippery places; Thou hurlest them
                                   .תוֹאוּשַּׁמְל ,םָתְּלַפִּה
                                                             down to utter ruin.

                ,וּמַּת וּפָס    ;עַג ָרְכ הָמַּשְׁל וּיָה ךיֵא טי  19 How are they become a

                                              .תוֹהָלַּבּ   ןִמ   desolation in a moment! They are
                                                             wholly consumed by terrors.
