.םָלוֹעְל םי ִהלֹא - ֱ  יִקְלֶחְו י ִבָבל - ְ  רוּצ

            ,םָלוֹע יֵוְל ַשְו  ;םי ִע ָש ְר הֶלא - ֵ  הֵנ ִה בי  12 Behold, such are the wicked; and they that
                                                             are always at ease increase riches.
             .ליח  - ִ ָ  וּג ְש ִה


            ץַח ְר ֶאָו  ;י ִבָב  ְל י ִתי ִכִז ,קיר - ִ  ךְ ַא גי  13 Surely in vain have I cleansed my heart, and
                                                             washed my hands in innocency;
             .יָפַכ ןוֹיָקִנ ְב

            ,י ִתּ ְחַכוֹתְו  ;םוֹיּה - ַ  לָכ ,ַעוּגָנ י ִהֱאָו די  14 For all the day have I been plagued, and my
                                                             chastisement came every morning.
             .םי ִרָק ְבַל

            הֵנ ִה  ;וֹמ ְכ ה ָר ְפַסֲא ,י ִתּ ְר ַמא - ָ  ם ִא וט  15 If I had said: 'I will speak thus', behold, I had
                                                             been faithless to the generation of Thy children.
             .י ִתּ ְדָגָב ךָיֶנָב רוֹד

            איה לָמָע  ;תאֹז תַעַדָל ,הָב ְשַחֲאָו   זט      16 And when I pondered how I might know this,
                                                             it was wearisome in mine eyes;
             .יָניֵע ְב )אוּה(

            ,הָני ִב ָא  ;לא - ֵ  י ֵש ְדְקמ - ִ  ל ֶא ,אוֹבא  דע זי ַ - ָ  17 Until I entered into the sanctuary of God, and
                                                             considered their end.
             .ם ָתי ִרֲח ַאְל


            ,ם ָתְּלַפ ִה  ;וֹמָל תי ִש ָתּ ,תוֹקָלֲחַב ךְ ַא חי  18 Surely Thou settest them in slippery places;
                                                             Thou hurlest them down to utter ruin.
             .תוֹאוּ שַמְל


            ,וּמ ַת וּפָס  ;עַג ָר ְכ הָמ ַשְל וּיָה ךְי ֵא טי  19 How are they become a desolation in a
                                                             moment! They are wholly consumed by terrors.
             .תוֹהָלב  - ַ  ן ִמ


            רי ִעָב ,יָנֹדא    ֲ  -- ץיִקָהֵמ ם וֹלֲחַכ כ    20 As a dream when one awaketh, so, O Lord,
                                                             when Thou arousest Thyself, Thou wilt despise
             .הֶז ְב ִתּ ם ָמְלַצ                            their semblance.

            ,י ַתוֹיְל ִכְו  ;י ִבָבְל ץֵמַח ְתִי ,י ִכ אכ   21 For my heart was in a ferment, and I was
                                                             pricked in my reins.
             .ןָנוֹתּ ְש ֶא

            ,תוֹמֵה ְב  ;עָד ֵא אֹלְו ,רַעב - ַ  יִנֲאַו בכ  22 But I was brutish, and ignorant; I was as a
                                                             beast before Thee.
             .ךְָמ ִע י ִתיִיָה

            - דַי ְב , ָתְּזַח ָא  ;ךְָמ ִע די ִמ ָת יִנֲאַו גכ  23 Nevertheless I am continually with Thee;
                                                             Thou holdest my right hand.
             .יִני ִמְי
